Types of Induction Heater

Power frequency induction furnace: An industrial frequency induction furnace is a furnace type that uses an industrial frequency power supply (special transformer) for smelting. It is mainly used for smelting various cast iron and cast steel, mainly for the production of castings, with a capacity of 1.0-100t.

 

Medium frequency induction furnace: Intermediate frequency induction furnace is the common name of non-vacuum induction furnace. It uses a thyristor frequency converter or frequency multiplier as the power source to increase the frequency from 50HZ (60HZ) to 150~4000HZ.

 

Vacuum induction furnace: The vacuum induction furnace is a furnace type that performs smelting and pouring in a vacuum. The power supply is similar to that of an intermediate frequency induction furnace, which is mainly used for smelting special steel and alloy.

 

Plasma induction furnace: The plasma induction furnace is a furnace type that is smelted in a protective gas and heated by a plasma power supply and an intermediate frequency induction furnace power supply.
